We are pleased to announce that our team has published a new article entitled Dual-stage valorization of carrot pomace waste biomass by aqueous extraction and acid hydrolysis for saccharide recoveryin the journal Food and Bioproducts Processing. Food and Bioproducts Processing. The paper presents an effective approach for recovering saccharides from waste carrot pomace generated during industrial juice and puree production, using a two-stage process involving aqueous extraction and acid hydrolysis. The results show that this approach increases sugar recovery and may support more sustainable management of food industry waste.
